E-1 Treaty Trader
An E1 visa is appropriate for nationals of countries who have commerce and navigation treaties with the United States and are entering the United States to engage in carry on substantial trade, including trade in technology or trade in services invested, primarily between the United States and the country of the foreign national.
The E1 visa holder (and dependents) may remain in the US as long as the eligibility for the visa continues.
A list of countries with appropriate treaties can be found here.
Contact our office with any questions. We offer free email or phone consultations and can help you successfully meet the legal and technical requirements of the E1 visa.
